Cigarette Can Chestnut Picker or any other kind of nuts

Chestnut picker. Every Oct is the chestnut season where everyone one
of all kinds come to pick the B.C. Canada Chestnuts. I make money
on selling what I pick,but the only thing is your back start to hurt
after awhile of all the bending over. I picked two pails of nuts and
after that my back was hurting so much so I put my idea to work and
ask my hubby if he could make me a nut picker before he headed out the
door to work. Now I want to use it but it is raining and I'm not
going to let that stop me haha. Here in B.C. Canada we have
Thanksgiving on Oct 11th which is just next week and I'll be having
everyone try to get as many nuts as they can so I got to pick pick
pick and make more money. One year we picked enough to pay for are
taxes haahah..

To make this nut picker you need some old cigarette metal cans if your going to make more then one. The next thing you need is a old wooden handle from an old rake that may of broken off. You Punch a hole at on end In order to push the handle in from the top. At the end of the wooden handle round it off so it sits flash to the bottom of the inside can. As you pushed the handle in,it will be sitting inside of the can at the bottom. Now on the inside of the can on the wooden handle add a srew to hold it in place.

Well I hope you can use this idea for when you need to pick nuts off
the ground and hey you can use it to pick up any other kind of
nuts ..not just chestnuts.
