Water Bottle Lid Cat Toy

I came up with a great idea.When you go to any food store and you buy those big water bottle and you pay to have them filled up..well keep the lids. The next step is you can paint
them with left over paint (lead free). If you don't buy any of these water bottles
and you know some of your friends or even next door do..ask them if you can have
there (lids). The next step..see if your hubby or boyfriend have these very small
ball bearing. They are cased in a metal sleeve. Sqrew the ball bearings to a piece of wood cut to the size of lid. You can glue it with hot glue or Epoxy
Now find some old writeing pens with large springs inside. Glue some black beads on the ends of these springs with Epoxy. You have to make some holes that are tiny enought to have the springs go in them,then you have to glue them down on the under side of the lid with the Epoxy(glue) to the lid. You can add wiggle eyes. you can add felt for ears if you
like. Add a tail at the back with string and a piece of string in the
front to pull it for your cat. You can rub catnip on the outside to have them
play with it. You can make them by filling it up in side of the lid with catnip
and then sealling it up and watch them play for hours .
